La machine à vent d'intérieur s'intéresse au processus d'imitation. En effet, l'imitation de la nature sous forme de motif, comme c'est le cas de certains papiers peints, sert habituellement à faire entrer la nature à l'intérieur d'un bâtiment à des fins esthétiques.

En s'inspirant de l'univers du cinéma et du théâtre, la machine imite et amplifie le son du vent et l'invite à entrer dans la chambre bleue. La capacité d'évocation du son suffit à transporter le spectateur vers un autre paysage, à la fois extérieur et intérieur, où soufflent bourrasques et rafales. Le but de la machine à vent d'intérieur est de renforcer via sa charge poétique l'image que chacun se fait de la nature.

"The indoor wind machine" is part of the process of imitation. In fact, the imitation of nature in the form of a pattern, as is the case with some wallpapers, is usually used to bring nature inside a building for aesthetic purposes.

Inspired by the world of cinema and theatre, the machine imitates and amplifies the sound of the wind and invites it to enter the blue room. The evocative capacity of the sound is enough to transport the spectator to another landscape, both inside and outside, where gusts of wind blow. The aim of the indoor wind machine is to reinforce, by means of its poetic elements, the spectators’ image of nature.
